inXile entertainment is a Microsoft game studio led by Brian Fargo. We're always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our growing elite team of game development professionals. Currently, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our team. You'll be responsible for the day to day accounting activities of the company, working with the executive team on budgeting and forecasting the monthly operations, and acting as an intermediary with Microsoft's Xbox Game Studios finance team.


  • Manage the studio’s day to day accounting activities

  • Manage the studio’s monthly accounting and consolidation activities which includes reporting results to Microsoft

  • Work with Studio’s Executive team to meet accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, long range planning, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

  • Report to the different Microsoft financial teams: accounting reports, budget and forecast planning, cash-flow management, CapEx expectations

  • Act as an intermediary with Microsoft and the studio for studio related needs including but not limited to corporate card management, real estate and facilities planning, finance, and other financial departments

  • Review and update internal policies and procedures for inXile's financial approvals


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • A minimum of 4 years of related financial analysis, accounting or business analysis, experience preferably in the entertainment industry

  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional verbal and written communication

  • Attention to detail – ability to handle large data sets and ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Ability to work closely with and coordinate information across a large, cross-functional team

  • Strong spreadsheet competency with Excel required

  • Deep commitment to building strong partnerships

  • Knowledge of accounting software (Quickbooks, Expensify)
