It’s been a busy couple of weeks. The Olympics are officially in full swing, we just wrapped up Mardi Gras here in New Orleans, and new studios are posting jobs here on GameJobHunter. Lots of new jobs!
Nexon OC Studio
Nexon is in the process of “expanding aggressively” into Western markets, and they’re opening up a new studio in Irvine, CA to help with that expansion. They signed up with us yesterday and posted an ad for a Game Director at the new location.

The Atlanta-based indie publisher is part of the Turner network, and is known for publishing titles based on their own IP, as well as other respected indie studios. They were the publisher behind Double Fine’s excellent recent metroidvania title, Headlander. They also published Trinket Studio’s Battle Chef Brigade. They’re looking for a new Graphic Designer to work across a variety of their current projects. Sounds like an awesome opportunity!
Archiact is a VR game developer based in Vancouver. They’ve been looking to fill several roles recently, and shared this tweet about what it’s like working in the studio.
