Our team is small and you will be expected to take a significant part in improving the team's technology and engineering practices as well as implementing features. You should expect to be working on aspects of the game that are as diverse as, collaborating with the UX designers to develop an intuitive interface, to designing and writing the server-side validation to ensure that a new feature can't be easily hacked

How you will contribute:

  • Collaborating with the design team to create engaging features by quickly prototyping ideas to evaluate options
  • Developing suitable prototypes into bug-free production quality features
  • Designing and implementing game features from client-side gameplay to tools for designers through to server-side validation
  • Optimizing features to ensure that the game runs smoothly on all supported devices
  • Explaining complex problems clearly and presenting potential solutions and their advantages and disadvantages

What you’ll need:

  • A deep knowledge of Unity and especially its GUI system
  • Experience working on an iOS or Android title using Unity
  • The ability to write well-structured and optimal code in C#
  • A broad knowledge of game engineering concepts including but not limited to: UI, AI and graphics
  • Awareness of the constraints faced by a mobile game and the impact they have on architecture
  • Desire to work in a creative, inspired start-up environment
  • A passion to continue to improve yourself and those you work with

What would be a bonus:

  • Experience of server engineering especially in javascript
  • An appreciation of database technology

What we offer:

  • 100% paid medical/dental/vision
  • Profit Sharing Plan
  • Equity Grants
  • Really cool office close to Bart
