Corporate Communications Manager - MMO Games
at Trion Worlds, Inc. in Redwood Shores, CA
Trion Worlds is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to develop and execute outbound communications programs that broaden the visibility of our AAA-quality products. The Corporate Communications Manager will report to the Director of Corporate Communications, working closely with both gaming and consumer media to generate domestic and global awareness for Trion’s games through strategic PR programs. This individual must be committed to innovation, display excellent understanding of the technology and media industries, and demonstrate success in managing and executing PR programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, coordinate, and manage specific public relations campaigns and related activities, to sustain a specific image for our core games and cultivate media support for products
Respond to all media inquires in a timely manner
Write and pitch press releases
Work closely with marketing and development on key messages for all outgoing communication
Work closely with internal departments to create and maintain press kits and related materials.
Maintain and expand relationships with a broad range of media professionals
Manage and grow media database
Plan and execute PR activities such as product launches, press tours, and trade shows/conferences
Work closely with outside PR agencies and consultants
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum five years of experience in the interactive entertainment industry
Experience in the online entertainment field
Established relationships with console and PC gaming press
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PLUSES
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
