CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS AND EVENTS COORDINATOR
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, the Corporate Communications and Events Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing programs that broaden visibility of Trion Worlds and its products. This role will work closely on all press events and tradeshows and work with both gaming and consumer media to generate awareness for Trion’s games through strategic PR programs, both domestically and globally.
The position requires a commitment to innovation, excellent understanding of the technology and media industries and demonstrable success in managing and executing PR programs.


RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate press kit updates and duplications
• Coordinate distribution of news and press releases
• Manage distribution of press assets/fulfill media requests
• Develop and manage media database
• Coordinate press accolades for in-house library and game sites
• Coordinating event logistics such as: travel, hotel, staffing, shipping etc
• Assist with management of event budgets, invoices and contracts
• Work as liaison between event management companies and Trion
• Manage ordering of giveaways and tchochkes
• Work closely with outside PR agencies and consultants
• Fulfill basic administrative duties


REQUIREMENTS
• 2 years experience in marketing or PR
• Proficiency in MS Office products
• Familiarity with PR terminology and duties
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


PLUSES
• Experience with planning and managing trade shows
