Job duties:
Prima Games is currently looking for an Associate Product Manager. This position will be responsible for the implementation the Product Manager’s vision by performing tasks that will further the creation of quality strategy content, including (but not limited to) schedule management, assurance of editorial content quality, and process coordination.
The Associate Product Manager will be expected to oversee and drive the production of content in several forms and in a number of capacities, including but not limited to:
•Build strong relationships with internal and external partners and help to ensure that Prima’s products are timely and accurate
•Establish, maintain and update a production timeline that will ensure projects meet release dates
•Identify problems in advance and drive creative solutions to fix them
•Coordinate the creation of ancillary products such as digital guides and video guides
•Work closely with the Product Manager to develop and execute the “vision” for each project
•Work with authors, copy editors, and designers assigned to each project; direct each with regard to content, design and scheduling
•Monitor resources to ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule
•Proof laid out pages for editorial and/or design mistakes, and incorporate licensor corrections
•Coordinate assets for any sub-licensed version(s) of assigned projects
•Participate as an active member of the editorial team in meetings and by sharing new ideas and work methods with the group
•Keep database and schedules updated so all parties are accurately informed
Job requirements:
Qualifications include:
•Bachelors degree in related field (Business, Marketing, English)
•Excellent organization and project management skills
•Exceptional attention to detail
•Ability to prioritize work effectively and manage multiple tasks
•Ability to oversee the work of other employees and freelance workers
•Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiarity with both PC and MAC programs
•Interest in computer/video gaming
•Ability to be a team player and work well with others
•Prior marketing or creative services experience in gaming industry a plus
