Summary:
The incumbent will support the PMA in animation team management. The incumbent may also be given a more significant management role within a small team. The incumbent will follow up on and determine the problems that could compromise the attainment of the animation team’s objectives. Half of the incumbent’s time will be devoted to creating and producing animations.

Missions:
The main and routine tasks of the Team Lead Animation are to:
-Assign tasks to hisher small team, advise the PMA in task assignment;
-Follow the evolution of the work of hisher team;
-Periodically report to the PMA on the advancement of the work carried out by hisher group;
-Suggest corrective measures to the PMA when necessary so as to reach set objectives;
-Determine potential conflictual situations and suggest solutions to the PMA as part of the problem-solving process within hisher team;
-Be a mentor to junior team members (in technical and artistic matters);
-Participate in performance follow ups, in collaboration with the PMA;
-Coordinate the resolution of the bugs that pertain to hisher own group;
-Create and produce animations (50% of the team lead – animation’s task; see the description of the animator position);
-Carry out all other related tasks.

Training:
Attestation of College Studies in game-oriented 3D animation technique combined with a project management certificate or any other equivalent training.

Relevant Experience:
2 to 4 years of experience in animation or any other relevant experience.

Other Skills:
-Have abilities in team management;
-Capacity of planning, follow-up and be on schedule;
-Have communication skills;
-Capacity to keep up with changes;
-Creativity (originality and resourceful in finding solutions);
-Capacity of doing team work;
-Be rigorous.
