Programmer | Full Time Position

At Emerald City Games we strive to push the bounds of mobile gaming. As a talented and self-motivated senior programmer, you strive for excellence as you support our talented team of animators, riggers and artists to deliver on the teams’ creative vision.

You have the knowledge and ability to visualize how things should work, and how to translate this into a functioning technical solution. We’re looking for a lateral thinker who goes above and beyond, bringing their “A” game every day as they create the next generation of incredible mobile games.

Support the technical pipeline and collaborate with artists, designers and other programmers.
Work on run time engine tasks as needed to support project requirements.
Help maintain, improve and overhaul existing systems and tools as required.
Write clear, maintainable, portable and highly functional code.
Mentor and guide less experienced programmers as needed.


Experience programming in C# and working on a game in Unity engine. [Preferably a shipped title].
Background that includes 2+ years of game development experience.
Passionate about making and playing mobile games!
Co-operative outlook towards working with art and design to achieve their creative vision.


UI Programming experience with Unity.
Working knowledge of 3D modelling programs (Maya), PHP, SQL , shader programming.
Experience working in the mobile games industry.


Closely knit team of professionals to constantly learn from.
Open office environment for easy communication and idea sharing.
Fresh baked goods and free beer on a semi-regular basis. (seriously!)
