At Tilting Point, we’re passionate about redefining game publishing to put developers first in mutually beneficial partnerships. As our VP of Marketing, you will develop and own the global vision and strategy to successfully showcase our approach, our services, and our games to the world. You’ll lead our marketing team in addition to managing relationships with developer partners, platform licensors (e.g. Apple, Google), IP/brand partners, and external service providers. You’ll own our overall marketing strategy, helping gamers to discover and enjoy the variety of games that Tilting Point sources from talented developers around the world.

Your Future at TPM

Branding and franchise building – Create and execute world-class marketing strategies and programs, leading your team to assemble the right vision, message, and positioning for each Tilting Point game across platforms worldwide. – Work closely with our developer partners and our internal teams to fully understand the relevant features, unique selling points, target audience, and competitive landscape for each title. – Develop brand identity, outward messaging, and communication of consumer value propositions
Influencer marketing, PR, social media, and community – Lead our team’s influencer marketing initiatives: identify opportunities, direct outreach, cultivate relationships, execute campaigns, and report results. – Formulate our social media strategy: conceptualize bold ideas, plan and execute content calendars, determine visual needs and deploy artists to craft them. – Manage all company PR efforts: B2B and B2C, domestic and international, gaming and non-gaming press. – Own community management, email marketing, and all out-of-game marketing functions, engaging and deploy internal and external resources as needed to accomplish company objectives. – Drive adoption of best industry practices, report learnings, and evangelize insights. – Build on our platform relationships to propel our games to success! – Cultivate, manage, and expand our relationships with first party platform licensors (e.g., Apple, Google, Valve) as our primary point of contact. – Present games to platform partners; advocate for featuring, promotion, and store visibility; identify and act on untapped platform support opportunities. – Solicit feedback from platform partners; educate Tilting Point and developer partners on current and future platform-related opportunities, trends, and guidelines.

Storefront strategy, management, and optimization – Direct and manage creative development of all out-of-game visual assets (key art, logos, icons, screenshots, videos, websites, banners, etc.) with your in-house art team, engaging freelancers and agencies as needed. – Own, optimize, test, and track storefront text, keywords, and other app store content, including all localized versions. – Supervise production of game websites and all search engine optimization
IP licensing – Identify the best brand opportunities for games in our pipeline and to fill product category gaps. – Originate license partnerships to achieve strategic objectives and revenue goals. – Manage and execute co-marketing efforts with partner IP licensors.

Leverage our vision and expertise to accelerate B2B growth! – Establish the voice and strategy of external writing and communications including our company website, social channels, industry press, interviews, speaking engagements, trade shows, and other outlets. – Create and execute our Tilting Point branding strategy to share and showcase our value proposition and dramatically increase visibility, brand recognition, and excitement through multiple channels. – Keep up on the latest trends in mobile game publishing, regularly engaging with industry leaders to inform perspective and drive best practices and differentiate Tilting Point from competition. – Connect with and build up a community of support around Tilting Point. Strategize and create exciting and useful content for target developers and other interested parties.

Your XP & Skills
We’re looking for a creative, collaborative, and data-driven leader with strong product instincts, excellent communication, and strong game industry credentials. The right person will have exceptional skill marketing to players as well as interacting with the world’s leading independent developers, leveraging deep knowledge and passion for mobile and free-to-play games.
This role requires 8+ years of progressive experience in game-industry corporate and product marketing, including at least 3+ recent years in F2P mobile and a dynamic balance of leadership, analysis, and creativity.

Location: New York, New York (Midtown/Grand Central)
Position reports to our Chief Product Officer.
