Before we get to the list, we’ll throw in the obligatory, “Vegas, baby!” Ok, we’ve got that out of the way. Big things are happening for the tech industry in Las Vegas. Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos, is spearheading an investment of hundreds of millions of dollars to revitalize downtown Vegas and turn it into a tech hub. An influx of tech talent bodes well for the future of game development in the city. There are several game studios in the region, and it will be interesting to see if that number grows if tech in Las Vegas thrives.
Las Vegas is also home to an active IGDA chapter.
On to the list – as always, let us know if we’re missing anyone!
